Dog Training Sessions are one-on-one, in‑home lessons designed to create calm, reliable behavior where it matters most: in your everyday life. Each 60‑minute session is structured around your goals, whether that is polite greetings, better focus around distractions, or a smoother daily routine with your dog.
I rely on humane, positive reinforcement methods, so your dog learns through clear guidance and rewards rather than fear or pain. During our time together, I demonstrate each exercise, then coach you through it step by step, making sure you feel confident practicing between visits. Because sessions happen in your home and neighborhood, we address real situations-doorbell excitement, family chaos, or busy sidewalk walks-in real time.
Two key skills I frequently build into these sessions are leash training and recall training. For leash work, we focus on loose‑leash walking and handler attention, so you can enjoy walks without being dragged, braced, or embarrassed. I show you how to handle pulling, lunging, or stopping without harsh tools, and how to turn walks into a calm conversation between you and your dog. For recall, we practice a dependable "come" cue using structured games and gradually increasing distractions, so you gain a safer, more responsive dog outdoors and around open doors or gates.
Single sessions are available at $175, and I offer reduced per‑session rates when you book a package of six or more. Package clients benefit from steady momentum, updated homework after each visit, and progressive difficulty tailored to your dog's pace. Over time, you see everyday changes: smoother walks, faster listening, and a relationship that feels more cooperative and less like a constant struggle.
